What is Feliz Smithidad?

Feliz Smithidad is a unique family gift exchange game that combines secret gift-giving, creative riddles, and friendly competition. Each year features a democratically chosen theme that guides all gift selections.
The Theme
Each year has a unique theme (Italian, Hawaiian, Outer Space, etc.) chosen by vote. All gifts must relate to the theme, making each year memorable and creative.
Self-Selected Gifts
Unlike traditional secret Santa, you choose what YOU want to receive. Submit your wishlist, and another elf will be randomly assigned to buy it for you. Gift limit is $50.
AI-Assisted Riddles
Create a clever riddle, poem, or carol about the gift you bought (without naming it). Use our AI assistant to help craft the perfect brain-teaser!
Three-Round Game Night
Children look at all gifts and pick which one they want. Guess which gift each child will choose (1 point each).
Riddles are read aloud. Guess what each gift actually is based on the clues (3 points each).
Kids deliver gifts to adults. Guess who originally requested each gift (2 points each).
Charity Pool
Optional $10 contribution creates a charity pool. Winners donate their share:
- 1st Place: 75% of pool to charity of choice
- 2nd Place: 25% of pool to charity of choice
- Everyone still gets the gift they originally requested!
